World's best pencils?

Students who need to borrow a pencil for my upcoming final may just be in for a real treat!

Last week-end, I bought eight dozen Ticonderroga (http://dixonusa.com/index.cfm/fuseaction=Ticonderoga.home) pencils in Costco. The box states that this product is "The world's best pencil." Apparently, the pencils are made with "premium cedar" and feature "latex free" erasers. Who could ask for more?

Howdy, what is the advantage of an eraser without latex?

I didn't know that there were some pencil companies that took their pencils so seriously. If it is made with quality wood, then I wonder if it has an effect on the graphite that it encases. Was it the world's best pencil in your opinion, or do you think the pencil company exaggerated? http://www.newtownofficesupply.com
